Within Workbench Server's administration page, the securables page provides you a more granular level of control over what each role can and cannot see within each DOC xPress solution. This page will display, within a tree, a list of all solutions and their solution items present within your server's DOC xPress Metabase. You can choose to change access to each individual solution item, or the entire solution itself.
Currently, explicit allowed and deny permissions placed within solution items will only be applied to DOC xPress Data Dictionary and Snapshot Comparison Features.

By default all roles are allowed on each solution and its solution items. To change the permissions, click the "All roles allowed" drop-down menu to the right of the solution or solution item you wish to change. This will display all the roles that currently have been granted or explicitly denied access to that particular solution or solution item.
To add specific roles, click the add button to bring up the add roles window, where you will be able to select the roles you wish to add to the specified solution or solution item.
Once a role is added it will appear in the allowed roles box. The added role now has an "allowed/denied" switch to easily grant or deny permissions for that role on the particular solution or solution item.
To remove a specific role from a solution or solution item, expand the drop-down menu located on the right of the specific solution or solution item. From within the list of allowed roles, click the check box next to the role you wish to remove and then click the remove button.
